Anyone know the deal here? I wanted to try a box, but have not had much luck. After a week in Cuba, I saw them in only 2 locations. The first, pulled out of a private locker and about 30-40% over gov pricing. The next time I saw them available, I had nearly run out of money so I couldn't purchase. Passing through Dubai airport recently, I found a single box of Diplo. #2 priced at equivalent of $600+ USD. Absurd. 

I know there was supposed to be an announcement recently about what vitolas Habanos SA will be cutting, but have they already released this information or no?

I lucked into 2 boxes of Dip 2’s at Hotel Libre in May

Haven’t seen the discontinued list, but knew I needed to grab them

Not sure how much truth there is to this...but I’ve heard it is unlikely they would kill Dip 2 because it would close out the marca aside from a regional release or something.

Must just be a shortage on them then. I'm sure they will be back because as you said, it would effectively kill the marca.

Dried up three months ago. 

it looks to be their turn to be out of production. 

They simply don't have the leaf right now to make everything. Monte 2 (25's) were out of production for near 2 months and back in production June.
