If you go to Le Bernardin, be prepared to go elsewhere for a second meal.  The portions are extremely small and instead of feeling fully satiated you realize you only feel well fleeced.

I've been to Disfrutar twice in 2017, once when it had 1 star and it was such an amazing experience that we booked again for later that year as there were 2 menus on offer and we wanted to try the other one. It had just won it's second star the 2nd time but the experience was not as good as the first, mainly due to the service rather than the food. Tickets was on the to do list that time but we managed to get a table at the Adria's new restaurant Enigma which we went to instead.

I've recently just managed to get a table at celler de can Roca for May next year (had to book 11 months ahead) as it's been on my bucket list for a while. Can not wait for this and also looking forward to going to Girona as it looks beautiful.a3c9387dfe54a13a95cc97a5d15d49b1.jpga12b8d07f3641f401eda53101df6e2ab.jpg9d620f039d1bb03fb0e931af1f053139.jpgc558358f805c7b2d4a0a2ebe966b2dbb.jpg8728bb1f25773806ff47656a36699159.jpg

Been to a few on here but by far the best for modern interpretation is El Celler. That place is amazing and has been floating between #1 and #2 for a number of years. The most amazing thing was the amount of flavor without the use of any butter in the whole meal!

Was pretty disappointed with Le Bernardin - there was some visual inconsistency in my colleague and my dishes even though it was the tasting menu and for a 3 star I expect much more. Taste wise wasn't overly that impressed either.
