Popular Post havanaclub
Went with a good morning smoke after cleaning the house, preparing for the in laws to come by for fish and chips on Good Friday. This was one of a handful of singles I picked up in Cuba a few years ago. Beautiful rosado wrapper and tightly packed. Draw was a little snug but just fine. Used a punch and paired with a French roast black coffee and a few chocolate Easter eggs. 1st: opened nicely with sweet cedar notes. 2nd: had a few draws that were on the bitter side but this subsided. Fruity, woody predominant flavours. 3rd: low end of medium but good flavour. Didn’t want it to end and nubbed the little PC. Sweet tobacco, the cedar note was gone but had the nice Cuban twang in this final third. I find RyJ really improves with age. Most young RyJ for me can be very bland and have harsh almost cigarette tobacco taste. This was a 14 and had absolutely no unpleasant flavours. Jbhunter223
Just had one of these yesterday, sounds like we had the same experience. Very sweet almost perfume like aroma too.

Engineer99
I have found the "mille fleur" series to pay off well. Both the Party and Romeo MF's are very tasty with very little age, as well as they get some drying out and stabilizing time. I have a few boxes of each in deep storage. Pretty good fresh for a cheep and cheerful, but I think they'll really shine with some age.
grizzlee
Nice job. Mille Fleur across all the marcas seem to earn their keep.
