Australian of the Year 2018

Three weeks into January seems a bit early to be declaring your people of the year, but Michelle's field of study, Quantum computing, will eventually change all our lives. Although a kin to fission reactors (we've  been 10-12 years away for the last 40 years or so) Quantum computing could arguably have a much bigger impact on everyday life than nearly unlimited power. It seems her team is closer than most groups I've read about, so Good on Em!
