NSXCIGAR Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 A very special cigar for the holidays. I was able to pick up a few of these recently. A rare find indeed. Not much on prelight. Perfect draw. 1st third: Opens with a classic modern Trini profile of the "coffee and doughnuts" with a slight spice kick. Medium all the way. Rich. Like a Reyes on steroids. Lovely. 2nd third: draw seems to open up a bit which I actually don't like but it's still good. Trini profile still there althoug it's tamped back a bit and there's a tangy citrus flavor that's developed around the halfway mark that is reminiscent of Punch Punch. Maybe some woody notes as well. Very Punch Punch in fact. Still getting the sweet mocha Trini flavors in there though. Very complex. Final third: burn and construction have been outstanding. Strength has ramped up to medium-full. A rich dark chocolate EL-style flavor has replaced the tangy-woody flavors. Still getting the Trini profile in there. Nubbing it. No trace of harshness right to the end. A fantastic cigar. 96 points. The hype is real for these sadly long-discontinued cigars. 3
