great coincidence as I am an American in Madrid and have been seeing alot of "old-band" 46s around, such a good cigar. Smoked one last night that was great before a few sherries at La  Venencia . Went back and got a great 15 pac it was so good. Unfortunately (probably fortunately truth be told) I am not a gin guy but always love the reviews/insight.

that is absolutely one of my fave bars on this planet. love it. great shame that it appeared in a few guidebooks which brought the crowds but still great fun.

seemed OK while I was there. had a great time! though I have spent the last two weeks standing in crowded pincho bars around the Basque country so it might just be growing on me!

i used to spend quite a bit of time there - a good sherry or a few, a top cigar and either with friends or if solo, a good book or people watching.
