Born and raised in Philly!  The best part about this season is that it came so unexpectedly.  Figured they were be solid and fight for a wild card but definitely not 8-1 at this point.

Philly in the NFC and as much as I hate to say it New England from the AFC.  The world is collectively hoping KC turns it around and spares us all another NE SB but they appear to be fading fast.  Unless Belichik comes up with an amazing defensive scheme the Igles will carve up that horrid defense and take the title.

Everything you say maybe correct. However I was referencing in relation to the Buccaneers where he turned losers into winners........who turned to losers again shortly after. 

Sadly the American media is obsessed with race.  During the weeks leading up to that Super Bowl one story dominated; “The first Super Bowl with two black head coaches.”  Regardless of the source It superseded all other story lines.  The focus transformed the game from Chicago vs Tampa Bay to Lovie Smith vs Tony Dungy. 

While the historical significance of it is unquestionable, the focus on it was pushed to the extent that it seemingly minimized the accomplishments of both men and their teams.  Sadly the media succeeded in accomplishing two things; Making both men one dimensional characters based solely on their physical appearance and making it almost impossible to think of either coach without making that mental association.

My Patriots are doing just ok by our standards, but our season starts at the Playoff's.  Steelers look to be the team to beat in the AFC.  AFC Championship should be Pats vs. Steelers
