Partagas Presidente RBS ABR 08 : Gifted cigars, weekend review competition

This beautifully aged cigar was acquired by a solid BOTL Chris[mention=5835]ChanceSchmerr[/mention]
 
Format: Perfecto
Size 47 by 6 1/8
 
The construction was excellent! Absolutely no burn issues whatsoever. The draw was perfect. I think I got a good one!
 
The first third was a nice sweet spice. What I have always described as the pardy spice.
The second third picked up in complexity and started getting more rich spice and leather.
The final third was much of the same with some woody notes with the sweet spice picking up. This cigar was medium-full in body.
 
I had the wonderful opportunity to be introduced to Chris through the box pass. We decided to do a trade and he absolutely demolished me with many aged Cuban classics, with this being one of them. Love this forum, and is nice to get to know some of you. Thanks again Chris for this beauty!
