I recently smoked a JLS2 2008 almost maduro looking. It was soo strong. My head was spinning and i had to go to bed, lol. By far the strongest cuban cigar i've had since smoking cigars (2008) lol.

I've found my 2017s to be more medium-full in terms of body and strength, though full-flavored.Like anything else, though, it's subjective.

The strongest Cuban cigars I've had were a couple of Bolivar RC singles last fall, and a couple of RyJ Cazadores from an otherwise not so strong box.

Holy Bejeesus!  Don't you fellows have any restraint at all??!! :P   Bustin' open a box of 2017 stogies in 2017?  What are y'all thinkin' ?   Oh I get it, you weren't thinkin' :P  :cigar:

I've barely even bought 2017 yet,  Got a small pile of Punch 48 2017 but haven't smoked one yet.  Mostly I just open the tupperdore and drool over them . . . yeah, they're getting damp. :P   Got a cab of Siglo IV 2017 but they've not arrived yet.  Those I may sacrifice and tear into ROTT.

So far the best thing I've smoked in 2017 has been the Upmann 50 Tubos OBM Jul 2016, and fabulous though they've been, they still need much more time down; but that's a thought that only hits you in the final third.  The first two thirds are perfection and I'm gonna have another one tonight. :2thumbs:

Agree. The lighter the wrapper shade, the better the profile on the Montes I’ve smoked

That’s been my experience with the PEs and #4s so far also. I took a chance with these PSP maduro-looking PEs on a recent 24:24. We shall see. Hope they’re crackers.

MUL Jun 2017, still en route.

Actually, i got a box of Partagas E2 LAU MAR 17. It was a fantastic smoke. They are so smooth with little spice. I would get another box for sure. LAU has been pumping out good stuff from what i've read.

Does anyone happen to have Rob’s latest 24:24 monologue for the E2? Are these the ones he recently has stated to be the most complex of the Partagás line (when they are “On”)?
