El Presidente Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Straight exploitation. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/29/world/americas/brazil-cuban-doctors-revolt.html
JR Kipling Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Good for them !This quote screams loudly -“When you leave Cuba for the first time, you discover many things that you had been blind to,” said Yaili Jiménez Gutierrez, one of the doctors who filed suit. “There comes a time when you get tired of being a slave.”Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
Habana Mike Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Saw this yesterday. Enlightening but not surprising. Kudos to those with the cojones to attempt a break from the hold.
oakalley Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I read the article. Human exploitation at it's nastiest! Congratulations to those brave souls who are willing to take the risk to make their life better. Amazing the Cuban government charges the country where the doctors are working a big price and the doctors get pennies. I would imagine that once they leave Cuba, people have a pretty "eye opening" experience. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
