Was gifted this cigar from a great BOTL in Switzerland.

Length: 137mm(5.4 inches) by 48

Pairing: Cuba libre

Ignition: 10:19pm

Cut: guillotine straight cut

Light: soft flame

 

Aroma at cold was cedar sweetness and touch of leather

 

 

First third started off mild to medium body. Beautiful aroma. Coffee and leather. Not much of the classic RA fruity sweetness.

 

 

Second third picked up in strength and body. To medium. Started to get a few waves of that fruit cake note. And a few hits of pepper. Some harshness. The draw was a little firm causing me to draw a little more than I would like so it got a little hot. Decided to clip a little more off which opened things up perfectly. I let it sit for a while to cool.

 

 

Final third became full in flavour and got more of that nice RA fruitiness character. Would have liked to nub this but it started to get a little too hot.

 

These have some room for improvement no doubt.
Finished at 11:39pm.
