Ken Gargett
i had not seen the Dictador rums - Columbian, i think - before but trued the 12 year old on the weekend and thought it excellent. i see that they also have a 20 year old and also a pointy end one called Insolent XO. anyone tried these and have any thoughts? MIKA27
I've hard of this but never found a place to purchase, I think Nicks now might? When we say Rum, is it like a Diplomatico or Zacappa type sweet rum or is it like havana Club would you say? EDIT: Yes, sold at Nicks now Going by the website, they make mention that the 12 year old version showed more aromatic personality and better overall length. The do a gin too I've had the pleasure of sampling most of their offerings Their Rums are good but no where near as sweet as Diplo or Zacappa Their Gins are good. The one that's aged in Tangerine Peels is especially good Their coffee is passible. Good quality but nothing to go broke stockpiling Each of their cigar lines are designed to be paired with either their Rum, Gin or Coffee All are ok if your partial to NCs and I especially like the Conn Half Corona (Pavo Real) as a morning smoke
