Montecristo No 2 PMS DIC 14 : Ode to the 47 to 52 gauge review week

Recommended Posts

Ah the Montecristo No 2. What can i say that you don't already know. One box gives you good cigars, great cigars, and absolute rubbish. I guess that means it's complex right? Haha

This one in particular had a bit of a dry wrapper. The draw was tight.

First light produced barely any smoke. Smoke was thin and wispy. Not a lot of flavour coming through.

I got some toasted tobacco, cream and slight coco. But not a lot of it.

I had to triple puff to get any flavour and smoke, as a double puff was not producing anything.

The flavours were nice but unfortunately due to the draw and the continous puffing, it burned hot.

I didn't smoke this one too far down. I have had some from the same box that have been very enjoyable. Unfortunately this one wasn't among them :thumbsdwn:
