Always liked his music, but never saw him live. Did that look & sound like a normal performance of Black Hole Sun, cause he seemed a bit out of it to me?

Earliest memory of Soundgarden, in 1990 I watched them open for Danzig. They were boo'd off stage. It took years for my musical palate to mature enough to appreciate them. Powerful voice. Sad loss.

Wow...that's amazing. I remember hearing Buck Cherry open for Godsmack in 98. I would have swapped those bands in two seconds. Some great music happened in the 90s.

I agree. It bums me out that so many of my musical heroes from that era are dead. Another of my favorite memories from back then is getting to see the Ramones live.

I remember the first time I listened to Superunknown. Such a powerful voice that transitioned so well from Soundgarden to Audioslave, etc.
