Cohiba Siglo II MEL OCT 16: Ode to the 40 and 42 gauge review week

Acquired an HQ box from 24:24.

Upon cutting there are six large visible veins.

Cold draw: sweet hay, nice resistance to the draw but not too tight.

First third: sweet hay and slight citrus.

Second third: Coffee notes on top of sweetness. Bit of mongrel is coming in at half way point.

Last third:  sweet hay, coffee, and mongrel.

Good construction and burn.  Slight uneven burn here and there but corrected itself without any touch ups.

I don't mind the mongrel so it's quite enjoyable.  I can see it getting better with age, I can't wait.
