Mold

Guys i need an advice. I got those 15 Esplendidos from recent 24:24. I took them out of the cartons today and on most of them there was some mold. Its was near the cap /nothing on the foot, not even close to it/  and I wiped it fell off easy. My question is should i leave these separately and smoke them asap or I can leave them in my single drawer? Once mold formed will it come back 100% even if I keep them at 65 rh ? Thanks in advance.

Just put em in your humidor. No need to separate. Never had any problems myself.

In my limited experience with white mold, once I brushed it off, it did not come back. The sticks have been getting along just fine with the others in my humidor.

Wipe off and forget about it.  It won't come back unless your RH is too high.

what colour was it? White is totally harmless. Darker shades, worst is.

I got the same ones. Wiped them off as I smiled and put them back in the humidor. Back in the cardboard. I'll check again in a month.

U put them back in the cardboard? I was worried that it has already the spores on it and threw it out.

If it comes back I'll consider taking them out. I'll store the cardboard somewhere else that's dry. I don't think it will be an issue. Never been one in the past. Like I said, I'll revisit them in a month and evaluate.
