Popular Post El Presidente
A great little article to kick off the week. I love Cigar Box Art. Like a walk in history. http://cubajournal.co/cuba-as-depicted-in-19th-century-cigar-box-art/

SignalJoe
While I love cabs for storage and aging it is hard to beat dress boxes for the art.
tengel78
Those are very cool. It would be nice to have a few of these to put out on display.

Pharmacovigilant
Beautiful artwork. Just an observation - Interesting that most (all but one) show medallions in some form, inferring accolades or awards. Always found it interesting and wondered whether the awards were authentic. Regardless, it does look cool, and perhaps it sells/sold.
canadianbeaver
This is not necessarily authentic historic product, as it is from pages and pages of illustration available online. If you do a search for "Cigar box art", then look under images, you can see great stuff and save it too. Really fun for collages and stuff like that. Same with orange crate art, cereal box art, beer label art and baseball card art. CB
