Just finished the first episode.

It was great to see Clarkson and Co. back in action. The new, huge budget was there for all to see, and looked great in 4K.

The feeling isn't that different from Top Gear, and there were a few nice jokes about the change to Amazon. Generally speaking though, it's business as usual.

There were a couple of clunky moments for me, but I'm sure they will be refined in the next few episodes.

Given the overwhelming positive response, the BBC must be cursing themselves for letting them go.

It will debut tonight in the US. I intend to watch it, really looking forward to watching the team do their crazy thing. BBC should kick themselves for losing the show.

Had the feel of old top gear.  Which is good.

I think without Chris Evans and more Leblanc and Harris next season's top gear should be watchable.

Ha ha . . . yes well just about any sort of behavior is welcome in the U.S. now.  The BBC still has a sense of decorum no? :P   I always loved Top Gear for the automotive fun but we really shouldn't allow bullies, tyrants and temper tantrums any sort of leadership roles just because they're entertaining.

Watched it and loved it...what did he Jeremy not get renewed for? I read this "a 30-minute fanatical tirade on Top Gear producer Oisin Tymon, followed by a 30-second physical altercation that left the producer with a busted lip" and it was over not having hot food at production. Seems reasonable! LOL I am confident there is more to both sides on that one.

Glad they are on Amazon...I'm better for it personally.
