bbcdce9634c383d8d5905f7b8d767274.jpgAlong with my favourite, Monte 5s, the BCJ and Party Shorts are regulars. The BCJ is the meatier of the trio and as I'm outside on Project Garden again it should fit the bill. Steaming hot strong black coffee to accompany as usual.

The smell at cold is leathery and this comes through as I light it. This box, from Rob naturally, has always had a smoothness underlying the strength of the cigar and this is no different. Leather and coffee are the dominant tastes in the first 10 minutes but a sweet woodiness starts to develop, mixing nicely with them. It's at this point I realise that I'm drinking black coffee, wearing leather gloves, whist cutting wood. I think I'm being influenced by my surroundings...

I have to relight halfway through due to putting the cigar down and forgetting where it was after half an hour. 7b073eb622ad41c52f4abe0ed1ac98cc.jpg

Knocked the end off, fired it up and the intensity of it comes as quite a surprise. Deep earthy richness overlays every other flavour for a while - you can chew on the smoke on this one. Getting to the last third there's a peppery tingle and more old leather. It's been a fantastic cigar for the bit of work I've been doing and might just go for this again over the usual Quinteros. Or just sit down and enjoy it properly without getting dirty and sweaty - that's a better idea.

Nice Review Akela3rd. The cigar looks awesome. Bolivar's are a staple in my line up. If I hadn't already lit up a Party Short I would be going for a BPC right now:)
