#3 for the RyJ comp. Just landed perfectly as my Hobbits and Giants singles extravaganza hits its 3rd week of rest. Belicoso or Churchill? Belicoso it is!

Aroma at Cold: STRONG barnyard with a little sweet tobacco hidden under the barn somewhere.

Not even a hint of rosado in the wrapper.

Cold Draw: Sweet tobacco mainly. Just a touch to the firm side--perfect.

1st 3rd: Tangy cherry on the retro followed by a wonderful creamy chocolate. Rich toasted tobacco and black pepper on the finish. Just hair less than medium. Rich, thick smoke on the draw. That richness...wow!

2nd 3rd: That richness continues through the entire middle third as the cream increases ever so slightly. The tangy cherry continues on the retro and now adds a nice, morello style hit on the finish. That rich toasted tobacco is a show stopper!

Final 3rd: Did I say rich??? It finally dies down a bit but a little coffee/cocoa makes up for it. Cherry is still going strong but the cream is fading fast. A little leather comes in near the end to accompany the cherry.

Burn was great just a few minor touch ups. Maybe just a little too long in the dry box. 1 or 2 hours max from now on.

Fantastic smoke while I watched the Cubs win the penant!!!

This goes on the must buy list. If that cream and chocolate pick up with some age...look out!!!

Great review.  Have not had one in many years and might need to pick up a few singles.  Thanks for peaking the interest!
