8c541941ec875ac4b17ee9852c6284b4.jpgAs it's Wednesday, I'm on my way to Cubs and as usual having a cigar on the half hour walk, so it's got to be a Monte 5 this week. These are probably my favourite small cigar - little chocolatey beauties that they are.

This one, pressed square from the bottom row of the box, grabs my attention straight away with the cocoa smell and taste from lighting. It's still warm here and I'm enjoying the walk and the cigar. Draw is perfect, the burn consistent and the familiar flavours of dark choc, hints of nut, and occasional citrus bitterness keep on coming. 84a18c307428fbeccdc1dfb2b8918236.jpg

Halfway through and there's a sweetness developing, which soon fades to the background, though staying detectable.

It's not a complicated smoke though it does have it's nuances to keep things interesting.

As I near the Scout Base there's a bit of a wobble on the burn but nothing to worry about. Well constructed throughout and the exact smoking time for my walk.

Overall, another perfect little Montecristo which further bolsters my high opinion of them.

Ahhh... Don't you love it when a cigar lasts exactly as long as the period you have to smoke it? I always love it when I'm driving somewhere and the cigar wraps up just as I get to my destination.
