The HDM DC is for those times you have time to spare.  That being said, I jumped in with a well constructed single and embarked on a journey that started with a tight draw.  In the interest of not getting banned from the site, I will forgo the expletives that a tight draw inevitably brings out of me.  So, what about flavors?  Well...very nice.  Started with cedar and spice, and quickly evolved to show coffee, nuts, and a little sweetness.  The Hoyo DNA was there throughout, but I can't help think that a decent draw and some nap time, would improve this stick significantly.  Overall, the flavors would make it worth another try.  Naturally, I never thought to put it in the fridge to open the draw up a bit until it was too late.  I'm beginning to think that DC's may have a proclivity towards tight draws.  Anyway, a good cigar plagued only, by a miserable draw.  Cheers.

Too bad about the draw, Sean. I had my first DC last week. It was the Punch, and the draw was great.. I thought it was an excellent cigar. You might want to give it a try.

I plan on trying the Lusi and the RA Gigante when I place my next singles order.

Should be good choices, and yeah, I'm about due to start sampling some Punches...good idea!

Thanks for the review, this is my favorite DC but they do need a lot of age to really show their potential.
