dicko Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Cohiba is my favourite marca. Which is a shame because i can barely afford them.I have a 10 box of these and am down to the last 3. Had a few singles as well. I dont have the exact code as i have lost the outer shell cardboard box that contained the stamp. LUB rings a bell though? Im fairly sure of the date because it is the same date as a stunning box of BTO sig 6 i have which are a much better stick at a similar price when i got them. Maybe even a tad cheaper. At their best they have been like honey porridge. Medium bodied and classy. This one had an obvious construction issue which bitterly affected the taste. I did get some woody and some rolled oats flavour in the first half but certainly no honey or cream. Medium bodied.Last half was acrid. Not really deserving of a score because it became unsmokeable. A tunnel ran down one side and I found the culprit... a stem or atleast a serious twist of tobacco. Not good enough for what is a very pricey torpedo. subport Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Thanks for the review. LUB was a decent code. I have tons of HQ/PSP Upmann boxes with that 1
TheMonk Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Thanks for the review, it seems you weren't too lucky with that stick!
JohnS Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Oh no...devastating! The Cohiba Piramides Extra can be such an outstanding cigar. I hope your next one is sensational.
Mattb82 Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 Very fitting to have it sitting on the wallet
