First, big thanks to @bundwallah for handing me this cigar about a month ago. What a great cigar!

Pairing - San Pellegrino Carbonated Mineral Water

1st third - Hay, cream, floral/grass. Very nice delicate sophisticated flavours. Sweet fantastic aroma. The cigar is light and complex with a lovely sweetness than lingers on the palate for a very long time after the draw. Ash falls off in 3/4" chunks. The sweet custard-like taste on my palate after each draw is remarkable and does not relent. 

2nd third -  It's clear that this is a connosieur's cigar. Draw is excellent, and I'm glad there's still about 4" to go. Coffee with heavy cream and brown sugar now. Some vanilla bean. I just love the vitola and how this example is performing. 

Final 3rd- Build in Strength and body. The cream and custard turn into more of a darker butterscotch note here...splitting hairs. The last inch or two less refined than the first two thirds. What they say about Cohiba probably holds true here - this cigar definitely has legs. Wonderful at 6 years, but I suspect these will reach perfection at about 7 or 8 years. For me at least...

Total Smoke Time - 90 mins on the nose.

I had a fiver of 2009 Lanceros. Absolutely fantastic cigars. I finished them a year ago. I'd pay damn good money for a box or several. No plugs, just perfect perfect cigars. Thanks for the review. It brought back good memories.
