HoyoFan Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Hey guys, I got a box in from another supplier and I have noticed a few of the sticks have one or two small blue-greenish spots. It's just a few sticks but I'm guessing it's mold. Question I have is what should I do? Given that they're faint and that I keep everything in a Wineador at 65rh and 65 degrees, should I be worried? Thanks.
CigarSeeker Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Is it mold? Or is it water spots? Do not mistaken the two. Post pictures, that will be helpful. 1
Phinz Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Upload a photo, if you can... Sounds like you may be seeing a rain spot on the leaf, as mold is more often white (can be many colors, but white is 99% or more for cigar mold). 1
Corylax18 Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Just water spots. Your're all good. Mold "stands up" from the leaf, its a growth coming from the cigar, not a discloration of the tobacco itself. Its usually white with a very faint blue/green tinge, if any.
