I saw this cartoon by Bill Leak in the Weekend Australian last Saturday. 

I thought it summed up the worst aspects of political correctness as it pertains to freedom of speach..... perfectly

Yes it is really funny - but on top the bloke nicely carved out the basic problem of the world we are facing today.

ah, there were very lax standards in the early days. 

in fact, i never actually joined. i just got a note from rob saying that i was now member 3 or whatever in something called a forum. if i recall, he was members 1, 2 6, 8 and 9, under different names.
