San Cristobal Oficios (2009) LCDH thoughts...

Apologies for a second thread if one already exists, nothing came up in search bar...

I recently ran into a cashe of SC LCDH Oficios from 2009. The reviews I've read sound great. I recall a few people here sharing the same feeing recently.

Any info, trials, reviews, and or tribulations regarding this offering by SC would be greatly appreciated.

I have had 2 gifted to me. One was good 2-3 years ago but not spectacular and the second was one of the top 10 smokes of the year last year for me.  Both had flawless construction. I would grab them.

I've recently purchased some 2007's and I love them. If you would like a bigger and more refined El Principe, the Oficios is your guy!

Interesting to hear! Never had one before. Own a '06 box of Mercaderes, which I enjoy a lot. But never tried the Oficios, similar basic blend, I guess? Heard so much mixed reviews and reports of construction issues that I abstained from trying the Oficios. Perhaps I should. Are they probably somehow more inconsistent - particular production-years to be avoided?
