Ken Gargett Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 a name that will be well known by every cricket fan, cozier was one of the great commentators. as a young kid listening on the ABC to the cricket coverage (in the days of very little tv coverage - can you imagine?), i loved the series against the windies - so exotic, so exciting. truly great cricketers both sides. and wonderful commentators on both sides - alan macgilvray as an australian and cozier from the windies. listened to them for hundreds of hours. i think i last heard him just a few years ago. still a joy. the game will not be the same. 1
JohnS Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 As a kid, I couldn't stand how he was so knowledgeable about West Indian cricket, especially when they were winning all the time in the 1980's! As I got older, I developed a healthy respect for his statistical prowess. His expertise will be missed. http://www.espncricinfo.com/westindies/content/story/1012471.html
