Popular Post Orion21 Posted May 4, 2016 Popular Post Posted May 4, 2016 The world lost a truly heroic and good person with the death of United States Navy Seal Charles Keating the IV in Iraq. Chuck was in Iraq "advising" Kurdish forces when ISIS broke through the Kurdish line. Reporting coming in from Iraq says that Chuck and his team rush to help, while the native troops continued to retreat. Chuck and his team held the line as best they could, but Chuck was wounded when his SUV was struck by a rocket propelled grenade. He fought until the very end and expired from his injuries. His teammates credit him with killing dozens of these ISIS animals known for massacring fellow Muslims, forcibly taking women and young girls as sex slaves and brutally murdering anyone they come across who doesn't share their perverted ideology. I am sure everyone around the world who has been touched by ISIS terrorism will send their condolences to the Keating family. He was on the ground in Iraq sending rounds downrange to not only protect his fellow Americans, but everyone touched by ISIS violence in Canada, Australia, France, Belgium, South East Asia and many others. Chuck was to be married in November and our community is devastated by the loss of a truly good man. May you rest in peace. 5
luv2fly Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Thank you to Charles Keating the IV for your service. Thank you to his family. A quote from President Lincoln: "I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom."
Jager223 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 RIP, may your brothers in arms stack 'em high in your honour.

MrGTO Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Much respect. He joined the Navy in 2007, leaving Indiana University where he was a long distance runner. He graduated from the Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training in 2008 and served two deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and one tour in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. “He then served as the leading petty officer of the West Coast sniper/reconnaissance training cell. Upon completion of his tour as an instructor, Keating checked back into a West Coast-based SEAL Team as a platoon leading petty officer in February 2015,” read a statement from Naval Special Warfare Group 1. “He was deployed to Iraq for a third time in support of Operation Inherent Resolve when he was killed.” His decorations included: the Bronze Star Medal with Combat “V”, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, National Defense Medal and Rifle and Pistol Expert ribbons, according to the service.
