What is your favorite morning cigar?

Love Hoyo Du Gourmets in the morning with a coffee, but good luck finding those at the minute. Hoyo Du Prince are pretty decent alternative

Here is a question for you... I work from home and could easilly smoke a cigar with coffee in the AM but I'm afraid that I would be so messed up that I would want to take a nap instead of putting in a full day of work.

So what happens to you when you smoke in the morning? Are you looking for any kind of stimulation whatsoever or just the flavor of a great cigar? Also, I don't drink much coffee so I still get a good bump of energy when I drink it.

If you say that it is great, I'm all over it and will try it too.

Every other weekend for me is a 3 day weekend. The wife works, so that 3rd day is the only day I can have a cigar in the morning with my coffee. As its my day off, I'm not worried about having to do any work (unless it's work I need to do around the house). I do love a good, full, strong cigar, but not in the morning. Like you, I'm not looking to get jacked up that early whic is why I started this thread.

I gotta say, when the opportunity comes around to have a morning coffee and cigar, I take full advantage, as the wife does not care for my cigar hobby...

I purchased a box of them as well. I hope that they'll be as good as the AUM JUL 14 box I purchased a month ago.

My fav morning cigar is.....any cigar! Really depends on if I'm going to be working with people the rest of the day. A nice RASS with my coffee is a great "shorter" smoke, but if I have the time and am not worried about my breath, a nice rich Liga9 or Partagas works too.

In Bali this week, have smoked Reyes principes and Connie 1 with breakfast.

All fantastic smokes.

Haven't done much for the humidity.. Just put an assortment of cigars in a non perfect sealing box with a small oasis floral foam and gel above the cedar strip

Cigars have tasted perfect with even burn.

My tip is if you're traveling to the tropics don't worry too much.

My favorite morning combo is still an H.Upmann Mag 48 and a cappuccino. The only reason I am repeating this is: I tried to upload a photo but could not post it in the right orientation. By the time I gave up, I had two identical posts, neither of which had the photo right side up.

I don't smoke in the morning but recently had a 3 year old monte 2 with a cup of coffee and it was spot on

My all time favorite was a box of 1997 Hoyo DC. I would guess it was around 10 years ago and I was roasting and brewing my own espresso at the time. My dad was staying with us after a surgery he had and we spent a week smoking those cigars and drinking Kona peaberry espresso every morning. Yum!

I've not found anything which beats an Edmundo with a cup of black coffee. Flavor profile is a terrific match. Only trick is that it's not a small cigar, so you need some time.
