Popular Post eswary Posted April 3, 2016 Popular Post Posted April 3, 2016 First of all, I'll start by saying that I am baseball and football junkie. I played all of my adolescent days in organized sports. It's like going to church for me to watch baseball and football these days. I've always dreamed that someday I would have a son and coach his football and baseball teams. Baseball..check. But today started flag football and I'm the head coach naturally. So today gents was a great day for me, and I finally got to check something off the so-called "bucket list". Happiest guy around, good times!!! Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 17
JohnS Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 I coached my son's cricket team/s for years. He's in the last year of his secondary schooling now, preparing for university studies, but we still talk of the fun times we shared on weekends during Spring and Summer. Happy times, my friend! 2

jackrestivo Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 I've got 3 boys, now they are 3 men all in their 20's. Time flies my friend. Coached all 3 for many years and those were some great times. The next thing I know i'm sitting down and having an occasional stogie with them. Those moment along the way are priceless, Enjoy them. Quality time with your kids never gets old, it only gets better and the memories are great. 1
zeedubbya Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Congrats, that's awesome. I still remember my father coaching me when I was young and I still remember a lot of my coaches and the things they taught me 30 years later. You're making an impact on more than just your son. Hats off. 1

billh1 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 That's awesome brother! An experience we should all be so fortunate to have. I'm happy for you and your son that you have been blessed with the desire, ability and time to share this opportunity. I too have had the privilege of coaching my Son over the years in both Basketball and Softball...One of the most memorable and gratifying experiences a man can have with his Son, producing a special bond created through shared adversity and competition on the field of play. Cheers to you and your Son! Relish the moment... Cheers! Bill 1
