MrGTO
I almost gave up on the first box I bought. I forgot about them in the bottom of my cooler for over a year. I was rummaging around one day and figured I'd give them a shot again and I'm glad I did. One of my top 5 smokes.
Webbo
Flavour wise how do they compare with the Regios? Do they have a similar fruity profile ?

cpmurrin
I agree with almost everything that has been said. The Serie A seem to need some time, the Regio's are pretty great after a couple months. I also really enjoy the Double Corona. Think I will smoke a Regio tonight
wabashcr
What does "not for everyone" mean? They are great. Certainly more enjoyable than the FAR more popular mag 46 imo....patience is key and then everyone will enjoy them. Tremendous. I'd be interested to see someone expand on this as well. Is it just because they require more age? Or is there something specific about the flavor profile that makes it "not for everyone?" I don't recall seeing many negative comments about SLR in general, nor the Serie A in particular.

Everyone thinks they are great but no one talks about them or buys them. Take a look at the recent purchase thread. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who has posted this as a purchaseSent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk

Yagermeister
I think you'll like 'em. I think the Serie A just aren't as widely produced as their little brother the Regios so you don't hear as much about them. I'm a huge fan of the Regios myself, and recently bought a box of Serie A to see if I should replace them in my rotation. So far, the Serie A doesn't quite seem to have the same level of richness and punch as the Regio. "More balanced" is a great way to put it. But I'm only working off one box of Serie A. Either is a great cigar though, IMHO.

I don't have any Corona Gorda sized cigars in my collection. Thought this would be a great place to start.Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
ksblazer
I find them to be a nice change of pace, but not a flavor profile that I can smoke regularly in my rotation. Prefer the Regios and DC's more in the SLR line up.

If you want to try more CGs you should also check out recent Punch Punch and RA Superiores.
