Yep. I was a fan of the early seasons especially. I'll be watching. My wife tells me that reviews of the first ep are middling, as it's a bunch of exposition. Will still watch.

Just like I'll watch the new Twin Peaks, when that comes out.

Also a big X Files fan... loved the whole series. Just finished last month re watching each episode. Very excited for tonight, though I suspect it may not have that same aura as before... nothing beats those first few seasons. I am awaiting anxiously to see what they do though, as with Twin Peaks coming next year.

Must admit that I found the series tepid in the middle seasons (when the conspiracy gained too many layers, IMO), and gave up entirely when David Duchovny left the show.

Yea I agree with you, it was so hard to watch once Duchovny left the spotlight.

When the focus was on "Agent Doggett and Reyes" I lost ALL hope And the last movie...

I enjoyed the original series, looking forward to the updated version some 20 years later. It'll be better than this game for sure -pending any miracle by the cardinals

hmmm... Seemed to be lacking in some areas. Almost too forced and over the top. Wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either... mixed feelings. Damn have they aged

I thought is was really good. I just wonder if every episode will have a different theme like the old episodes, or is it one big continuation of last nights episode.

I believe it's a continuation. I just finished watching the second one--- very very good! More true to the original. My hopes and dreams are restored lol

Loved X-Files as a teen, when it was on during its prime days. Definitely looking forward to the new revisited series. One of the channels on cable has been running a two day X-Files marathon since yesterday and caught a few of the old episodes. Good times .
