FrostD Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I have been around a little bit here. I've been reading and getting the gist of the FOH forum. Your all great BOTL/SOTL that I've been noticing which is refreshing! I'm taking the plunge in and formally introducing myself. I've been smoking cigars more consistently for the last 3 years. Prior to that it was at random times here and there. I started with Perdomo Lot 23 or it may have been a Don Diego Playboy. The last 3 years has been a very exciting time of meeting fellow BOTL/SOTL. I used to travel all over the Midwest for work and always made an effort to meet new people and lounges around where I was staying. I've found that there are some remarkable places to go and enjoy the leaf. Now working in the financial industry I don't travel as much, but do have some local and semi local places I enjoy relaxing at. As far as types of cigars I've tried and enjoy the list was ever continuing. Now it's refining a bit. (Although there are always diamonds in the rough) I started with a lot of different Connecticut wrapper and milder cigars. Then went through a palate shift and explored the fuller end of the spectrum with a huge interest in broadleaf wrapper types of cigars. In the midst of my palate change I've found the wonderful world of Cuban cigars which I've tried quite a few, but still consistently learning about them. The glorious joy about the industry is how each person can have a different experience with the same cigar which fascinates me beyond belief. Now my palate has shifted into the more medium-medium full strength and flavor range. However, that hasn't stopped me from enjoying cigars with different profiles than what I enjoy most. I have built up a nice collection the last few years. I'm not here to brag about it in the least bit. (Always bigger fish in the sea) I'm here to enjoy everyone's company, continue my learning, and share my experiences with my hobby/obsession with cigars. I'm looking forward to building a relationship with each and every one of you! Enough of my rambling.... Happy Sunday everyone! Smoke something great today! Jeff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
ElJefe Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Welcome mate. Excellent and a very humble way to introduce yourself here. Good on ya 1
FrostD Posted January 17, 2016 Author Posted January 17, 2016 It's funny I was looking at my profile and saw my post count was 0. Then looked at it further and found that I did an introduction back in August 2015. Happy Reintroduction!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MIKA27 Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Hello and welcome to the forum Jeff, I wish everyone introduced themselves in a little more detail such as yourself so rambling is always good... Though I do say that because I'm always rambling 2
FrostD Posted January 17, 2016 Author Posted January 17, 2016 Some of us who ramble are great thinkers and can envision many things. Best way I can describe it is thinking in pictures. Some people I talk to say they think in words. So, those of us who think in pictures are always try to describe the picture. Which sometimes comes across as rambling.... If all of that makes sense. stogieluver Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 A very warm welcome, Yankee Jeff, from a Rebel of the Deep South. One of the best intro's I've seen here. Good to have your company.
