jwr0201 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I appreciate someone asking this question. Somewhat of a relief! I figured it was Aussie slang for something along the order of tasting like a fire hydrant after the dog pack went by and needing time to dissipate the rather pungent tastes and aroma! As it turns out, Mongrel is pretty good - correct?

Smallclub Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 As it turns out, Mongrel is pretty good - correct? No, it's a matter of taste. Some people hate it and smoke only aged or vintage cigars in order to increase their chances of avoiding it!
PapaDisco Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Mongrel = strength+ in your face upront flavour which is often unfrefined/one or two dimensional. I'd say this, with the clear sense that time down will cure all. So in that sense mongrel is a good thing. It's strength and flavor that needs time to meld.
