Nrengle Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 So I happened upon a unicorn farting rainbows tonight. A cigar shop that you can actually smoke in in California, and what did they have? Hamlets new cigar. I picked up a few to try. It was definitely young, but I was kinda left wanting more. It seemed to very mild compared to what I'm used to. I'm hoping its character develops with some aging. They were reasonably priced though. I believe 11 bucks, which to me isn't bad after being in Canada and picking up a few sticks there (95 or so for a Behike, ouch!)
Napa_Smokes Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Have to ask.... Which shop in California? If it's near by me I may have to pay them a visit. Shame about the cigar. I've been wanting to get my hands on one to try but not paying California prices and don't wait a 5'er yet.
maxcjs0101 Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 You mean the Tabaquero line? Those are limited editions right? I saw them on RP's Instagram account.
jp1979 Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 I do not believe it is limited, its a decent smoke. Buy them online... I paid 6.00 for the Salomon
ned Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 I have some on their way to me here in oz, cant wait to get them.
GasGuy82 Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 You can smoke in all of the cigar stores here in Sacramento. Funny note, I was enjoying an RJ WC with a gentleman a few months back who told me that the carve out for cigar stores was specifically mandated by Pete Wilson when he was governor due to the fact he was quite the lover of cigars and detested the idea that he would t be able to try out a cigar on the spot before buying a box.
