KB24
Anyone watch the game this evening? What an exciting game but USA couldn't posses the ball and played defense probably close to 90% of the game. Is Juergen Klinsman(sp) the right guy for the job? Do they scrap the older players like Dempsey, Bradley, Jones etc and start a complete rebuild with the young talent like Yedlin, Jordan Morris Bobby Wood etc? Anyone have any Coaching candidate suggestions? My opinion...new coach with the young guys. -Patrick
oliverdst
Very good match. Mexico was way better the whole time. I am glad I was awake to see the 3rd goal.
mgravito
I did watch this game. What a terrible loss to stomach. Unfortunately I feel like we're regressing. Very little link up play between the back line/defensive midfield and the forwards. We're no better at ball movement in tight spaces than we were 4 years ago. Poor decision making, errant passes, too eager to get forward without building an attack involving 3-4 players. Bradley has been much worse since leaving Roma and playing in the MLS. I think to many of the older players on this squad too easily revert to form - defend, defend, counter. Unfortunately they're caught in middle somewhere and the look poor because of it. I'm so disheartened after last night's loss and I don't really know where the USMNT goes from here. If you go to young, you risk not qualifying for the WC, but our younger players are more capable of playing the style Klinsmann wants to play and are more talented in a pure skill sense.
