El Presidente Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I came across some very nice boxes of these (up next week or week after). I have minimal experience with this short panatela 35 x 110 (4.3"). We don't bring them into Oz as a rule but if it is worthwhile pursuing I will make it a regular SKU. Those that do smoke them regularly, let us know thier profile
Hunter1974 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Man I have only had one of those little suckers and it was GREAT! It was a gift
NSXCIGAR Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I've had good experiences with most of the small RG Upmanns, especially Coronas Minor and Majestics. Those Epi's look pretty nice...may just grab a box when they go up!
Sophistic Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Underwhelming version of the upmann profile, even with plenty of age. Earthy, not much more. I wouldnt use this as an introduction to cuban cigars, just too boring.
Smallclub Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Underwhelming version of the upmann profile, Agreed. Lacks real structure... In a similar size I much prefer the RyJ Sport Largos.
djjdhay Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 The H Upmann Panatela is a great cigar. It's not the size usually smoked by the masses, It has its own flavor and style. I myself enjoy a larger ring gauge with my morning espresso, but would switch to one of these assuming I could attain them on a regular basis. Its smooth with a touch of the usual Upman flavor to get your palate going in the early hours of the morning. Short enough for those of whom don't have more than hour to spare before work, and has all the characteristics I would like in a quick smoke. Highly recommend all to try.
