Sprouthog Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Glad to finally be here. A fellow BOTL suggested this site when he heard about my interest in CC's. I received my first purchase from the sister store this week and it won't be my last. I've been smoking cigars off and on for the past 30 years but seriously for the past 5 and CCs for the past 3. I've amassed a pretty good collect but I'm always willing to learn from the more experienced smokers. My interest In cigars has peaked to the point that I've started rolling my own to learn about the process and nuances of cigars in general. I appreciate any advise you may have and look forward to participating in the discussions. Thanks
PointFivePast Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Glad to see another PNW member! Pretty new myself, but if the welcome I received is a good barometer, this community is generous and happy to share the knowledge. I've been intrigued by the self-rolling as well but haven't taken the plunge. Seen some others pick it up and they seem to enjoy it. Would love to see some of your self-rolled sometime!

Ask and you shall receive. Blend #8: PA Oscuro wrapper, Dom binder, Dom ligero, Corojo 99 viso, Corojo 99 seco and Nic Habano Seco. Coffee, cocoa, pepper and some sweetness. Nic Habano will add creaminess and nutty notes. Another BOTL who's rolling these said toasted marshmallows. Looking forward trying these. So far my favorite blends contain combinations of Corojo and Criollo. They compliment each other very well.
Stogieninja Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Wow. Rolling your own is pretty cool. Welcome from Puyallup!
