MIKA27 Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Watch the Trailer for the Back to the Future Documentary Back in Time "Lightning in a bottle tends to stick around for a long time' The Back to the Future franchise turned 30 this year, and fans are no less obsessive about debating plot theories and fawning over Deloreans than they were when the first installment of the trilogy hit theaters on July 3, 1985. Now, a new documentary will tell the story behind the movies, with participation from director and co-writer Robert Zemeckis, writer Bob Gale, producer Steven Spielberg, and the film’s original cast. Back in Time, which hits theaters on Oct. 21—the same day Michael J. Fox arrived in the future in the trilogy’s second installment—recounts the inspiration for the story, the decision to use the Delorean, and the impact the series has had in the decades since its release. “It really is for me inarguably the greatest time travel movie ever put on film,” says Spielberg in the trailer. Huey Lewis, the musician behind the original movie’s theme, “Back in Time,” that shares a name with the documentary, is also featured. “They picked the right song,” says Lewis. 1

luv2fly Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 My favorite time travel movie. When I was a kid and saw this I thought "That would be the greatest adventure". At the time, Raiders of the Lost Ark was my dream. This changed everything. One of my top 5 of all time. A huge part of my youth and I am about to get choked up. Thanks to all involved in the Back to the Future franchise. It was and will always be part of my youth and I thank you all for it! 2
Bennettjohnl Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Loved those movies as a kid. Wife and I will stop and watch if we come across it randomly on television. Similar to "A Christmas Story" it's a staple and reminds us of our childhoods.

Have them on BluRay, Every now and then we all sit down and watch them. They are timeless, classics and very rarely do any movies of this era come close to the Sci-Fi of old.
