I have read about this. Considering the per capita number of loons in the San Francisco Bay Area it could be any number of groups. Thinking about the work that had to go into digging up these lines, then cutting them, it has to be some highly motivated vandals. It will be interesting to see where it goes.

Several years back we had a whack job in Fargo cut through a split with a gas powered saw before cutting cable and fiber optic lines.

His stay in jail for extended twice for sending a rambling and threatening letter to the da that prosecuted him and the judge.

How else will he build our grand NBN scheme? He needs to make sure he stores up enough cable, so that when we need to upgrade the entire network in 10 yrs, we're ready for it!
