Ken Gargett Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 anyone who follows the NFL will know of greg hardy's talent but also his complete disregard for behaving in a manner in any way resembling a human. he has been at the cowgirls for all of six minutes and we have this - see below. just maybe you can put that down to simply a poor sense of humour but he has already got in a sstoush with a teammate, even if a verbal one. wouldn't you think he'd have head down, work hard and keep out of trouble written across the insides of his eyelids? still, it could be really bad luck for the cowgirls because they normally value character above all. he is making gregory look a model citizen. Dallas defensive end Greg Hardy, who is facing a 10-game suspension for his role in a domestic violence case, stirred criticism Friday night with a joking reference on Twitter to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Hardy was responding to a fan of his former team in Carolina after the Panthers drafted a tall receiver for the second straight year. Hardy tweeted, “didn’t the twin towers get blowN up lol,” following a similar reference from the fan to the 2001 attacks. The tweet has since been deleted. The tweet came about a week after Hardy’s agent acknowledged he had a verbal altercation with Cowboys defensive tackle Davon Coleman in an offseason workout. Carolina drafted 6ft 5in receiver Devin Funchess in the second round Friday night after getting 6ft 5in Kelvin Benjamin in the first round last year.
zrotfus Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Definitely not going to end well. But what did they expect with a guy like him? In this social media landscape it's even more important I think to have high character guys on your team. Not only because guys are tweeting ridiculous things like this but also how Jameis got caught on video doing that ridiculous thing on the table at a dining hall. Just endless opportunities for stupidity to rear its ugly head.
JY0 Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Carolina Panthers PSL owner here. Amazing player on the field, a nightmare off the field. I am glad he is another teams problem now. 1
wabashcr Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 The twin towers remark alone doesn't bother me, but in the context of a guy suspended 10 games for beating up his girlfriend, who should be on his best behavior, it shows he clearly doesn't get it. He'll fit in just fine in Dallas. 2

He'll fit in just fine in Dallas. He'd be in jail if he hadn't paid the girlfriend to disappear. The judgement was dropped because no one could find her to testify. The defense admitted to 'financially settling' the issue with her.
DrunkenMonkey Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 The Cryboys have always been all about character? Wasn't Michael Irvin a Cryboy?
skalls Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I don't think there's an NFL team out there that won't set aside some, or all, character issues for performance on the field. The teams are always in a win right now mentality.
