Popular Post El Presidente Posted April 27, 2015 Popular Post Posted April 27, 2015 We need to amend the access requirements to regional forums as well as bumping up the requirements for those initiating "splits" within those forums. The amendments are minor but felt to be important in order to achieve a balanced level of access and security for FOH members. So from the 1st of July 2015 Entry to Regional Subforums will require a minimum 3 month membership of FOH and 30 posts. Initiating a Split on any subforum will require a minimum 4 month membership of FOH and 70 posts. As always, we strive to achieve a balance and hopefully most of the time we get it right. Cheers Rob 5
CoCigarSmoker Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Sounds more than fair to me! Thanks for always looking out for us Prez. Cheers, Seth
CanuckSARTech Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Sounds good. What are the current limits for trading room requirements? And it may sound goofy, but would putting in limits prior to being able to send PM's, would that be feasible at all?
earthson Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Will we have to contact you post-July 1st for a new password?
El Presidente Posted June 1, 2015 Author Posted June 1, 2015 Will we have to contact you post-July 1st for a new password? No. I will be able to amend the back-end requirements so those not meeting them will be blocked from access. Painless for all 1
Nrengle Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Do I qualify for my region now? And being I'm all over the world all the time can I be an honorary everywhere guy lol!
Fuzz AI Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Do I qualify for my region now? And being I'm all over the world all the time can I be an honorary everywhere guy lol! Yes, you qualify: From the 1st of July 2015 Entry to Regional Subforums will require a minimum 3 month membership of FOH and 30 posts. Initiating a Split on any subforum will require a minimum 4 month membership of FOH and 70 posts. If you want to be a member of the Aussie sub-forum, you can... if you want to pay our overly-taxed prices!

RijkdeGooier Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Maybe we can have a list of Regional subfora? Might start a European subforum?
Fuzz AI Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 There already is an EU sub-forum. The list is on the main forum page: http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/forum/index.php?app=forums
Philc2001 Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Somehow joining the forum through Tapatalk doesn't seem to be included in the calculation.

Do you have the password to the regional sub-forum you are trying to access? And you are 1 month shy of the 3 month minimum for access.

I've been using Tap for several months, just following the forum without posting anything. It looks like when I finally posted something it became my join date. Weird.
Fuzz AI Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Tapatalk seems to have a lot of weird problems. 1
