Duxnutz Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Any FOH-ers live nearby? I'm headed to the area shortly (couple hrs). Any decent cigar lounges near any of the distilleries? 1
wabashcr Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I know there are at least a couple of FOH members in Louisville or elsewhere in Kentucky. I don't think you'll have much luck finding cigar lounges, as most of the distilleries are in rural areas. Some of them are even in dry counties. But if you end up in Louisville or Lexington, I'm sure there are cigar lounges in those areas.
PapaDisco Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 IIRC Kentucky just passed a smoking ban in February in the legislature but I don't believe it's been passed in the Senate and therefore would not be in effect.
cadillacdoc Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Any FOH-ers live nearby? I'm headed to the area shortly (couple hrs). Any decent cigar lounges near any of the distilleries? I live two hours east of Lexington and have visited almost all the distilleries and drink too much bourbon, rye, gin, wine, champagne and beer................hiccup. Cigar lounges are difficult to find . Jakes is nice and about 5 minutes south of New Circle road in Lexington, just inside Jessamine county. You'll have a good time. Which distilleries do you plan on visiting? Some have bottles only available at their gift shops.
ogus Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 We had fun at Evan Williams. Nice country drive to enjoy a smoke.
JohnS Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Adam, you know I'm going to love hearing all your adventures when you get back!
forgop Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Will hit the trail one day. May make it an overnight trip and price staying at the castle again.
