This makes me cringe.

Hmmmmmm? What do you do with your leftover grinds??

Granted, after that, I use them to fertilise my garden. :ok:

They go to the garden or compost and sometimes baking. I'll have to give your method a try to see how it ends up turning out.

Do let me know how it works! It's a method I've developed by myself as I like to experiment in the kitchen and I wonder how other people take to the ideas. This has always been the best for me (and most efficient use of the beans). I also love Ice Coffee but never enough to use fresh beans for them.

Baking use would be a smart idea for the leftover grinds, actually! You can also dry them and use them as an air freshener in a closed room, closet, or in your car.

Probably a 4-letter word here but...i still Keurig... lol.

I do too. I can get a decent cup of coffee with cheap reusable cups and good coffee beans.

After I broke 2 french presses, I kind of gave up on them. Used them more for tea then coffee always. I will admit I never perfected the art. I also have moka pots that are used occasionally (for the "black coffee" that my grandmother would make) and a pour over holder.

If I need to fill a thermos for fishing, I will brew the coffee in a cooking pot and use the tea kettle for water on the French press setting.

I would like to upgrade the grinder. Thinking about a manual grindee for camping use and occasions when I want to make a great cup or experiment with brewing methods.
