polarbear Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I've got a mate coming back through Singapore next month (terminal 1, I think) and as he doesn't drink, has offered to pick me up a couple bottles of something I'm not sure what their range is like as I've only ever been through terminal 2 and 3 I was hoping theyd have the full range of Havana Club, especially the SdM and Anjeo 7 Also, if they carried Diplomatico rum i'd be adding that to the list too Anyone passed through there recently?
OZCUBAN Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Yes PB I went through a few weeks back, pretty good selection of just about anything only looked in T 2 as time was scarce picked up a couple of bottles of scotch ,didn't see the Rums though, but then i wasn't really looking as the mrs was having a meltdown cos she thought we were going to be late, sorry i can't be of to much help ,my advice would be a wish list in order of priority cheers Steve
westg Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 PB the Seleccion de Maestros moves as quickly as they put it on the shelf...you would be very lucky, Anjeo 7 no problem. Diplomatico ..I have never seen it and have always asked for it , no luck. Plenty of Zacapa as always which I don't think you can go wrong with. I think Bacardi 8 is very good as well. I will be passing through in three weeks as well fingers crossed mate,
Optic101 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 As West mentioned, lots of stuff to choose from. But sometimes they run out. Most of times all 3 terminals have the same or nearly the same collection. If you give him a few options there is no problem to get some. You can go by train from termial to terminal, if he has time and want to see.
muzz Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Yep I've found e same thing in they all shops have the same stock...I'm sure they have the same supplier stacking the shelves
sengjc Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 In my opinion, the best duty free in the South-East Asia region if you like Cognac/Armagnac and whisky. A pity they stopped selling Japanese whiskies, though.
