Ok, so I hung out with Jorge and Acidmase on Sunday and having a nice session. We were enjoying a few smokes a piece and randomly Jorge noticed that there was some handwritten lettering inside his, I think, Juan Lopez band. Off the top of my head I can't remember what the letters were, but has anybody else seen this? We were trying to think of what it could be, and the only thing I could think of was it was the branding from when the bands were stacked together waiting to be put on.

I've had a few with numbers or indeterminate scribble inside the band. No idea of their purpose. I do have a RASCC box with a little mark on it that had the same/similar mark inside a few of the bands. I'll try to get a pic up when I return home

Never seen that on a cigar band. I did find this in a box on Padron '64 Exclusivo's which I thought was interesting. Barely sticking out in-between the outer box and cedar lining.

I have two boxes of Padron Family Reserves with that little factory info sheet inside. I've never seen writing on the inside of Cuban bands though. Maybe it's some factory/roller specific marker, but that's a complete guess.

Those are usually in every box of Padrons.
