manelson05 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Cast iron is very nice for browning and even indirect but so is All clad. My wife and I use the 5 layer All clad stainless and it is very nice.

topdiesel Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I tried the ceramic and it was terrible. Get your wife a non-stick if cast iron is too heavy for her and get yourself a cast iron. They really do cook the best.
purpleloki Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I bought an 18/10 Wolfgang Puck frying pan about 10 years ago on HSN and it's awesome. Heavy as hell and still looks new!
