Orion21 Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Trinidad was a snooze for me. I never really enjoy them, but it's great to see the new Vigia is a bargain!
NCPANTHERZFAN Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I'm contimplating purchasing a box of Trinidad Fundidores with box code ROA JUN 11. Anyone have any experience with this box code on 2011's? I haven't seen it listed on this thread and want to make sure it's doesn't fall into the bad batch category. Thanks for your help!
JohnS Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 All I know is that the Trinidad marca in general doesn't come up often on 24:24 sales, because of these aforementioned issues noted already, but when they do they never fail to sell out very quickly. I should know, I've missed out a few times! (With no qualms about it either...it's completely understandable why this brand is so popular when they are 'On'.)

The one cigar from the box I've smoked is in my top 5 list for this year. If I could buy another box I would. 1

CdnLimitada Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 The Reyes (2011) I have smoked have been among the best cigars of that size that I have ever smoked. I would love to get more of the same flavor and quality. I have some newer Fundys (2012) I think that I will keep in the humidor for a long time. Construction is fine but really harsh. 1
Notsocleaver Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Thanks for the info! Pulled the trigger! Cool! hope you like them. One box isn't a lot to go from, but finding a box of Fundidores is hard enough as it is. The secondary market is brutal. Just remember to smoke them very slowly, even the best long skinny can turn nasty if you start huffing them down. 1
subport Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Operator at IBM Hungary. The first and the most boring...did not last too long, lol
kuma Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Last box of Fundadores I bought from Czar are dated MSE JUN-11. Smoked a few of them and put the rest to bed for awhile. Granted date is 2011 but I thought they needed some down time. They were bought in 2014. I think at this point I'd rather have bought Monty. Esp.'s over the Fundies. A much better smoke for my coin.
