Some Cuban Music

I was lucky enough to run into Angel and Gustavo from the group "Duo Sauce" in the Lobby of the Parque Central Hotel in Havana one evening. I asked them over to my place the following morning for an hour or so. I played them some Planxty (traditional Irish group) to see what they thought. Turns out Gustavo, on the right, had an Irish grandmother.

Then they played this. Somewhat clichéd but brought a tear to my father's eye all the same.

Then this. Handel's aria, Lashia Ch'io Pianga. I like this a lot, one of my favourite versions.

So I suppose, not really Cuban music at all!

But at least shows some of the talent out there.
